21-Day Detox Challenge: Spirit, Mind & Body ~ Day 16

November 2, 2010 by Julette Leave a Comment

Hello Hello!

The following message was sent to the Facebook event participants of  21-Day Detox Challenge – Spirit, Mind & Body on Day 16 of our journey. All previous messages can be found here.  The Facebook event is here and the video introduction is here. You can still join  – we began on October 18th – but you can start at any point and do the program as prescribed.

I hope you are doing well.

If you are still enthusiastically doing this challenge from day to day…whether you are falling and getting up often, doesn’t matter along as you are getting up with as much enthusiasm as you need to continue…then C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !! 🙂

If you are still not very enthusiastically doing this challenge from day to day…C ON G R A T U L A T I O N S for hanging in there!  I urge you to revisit your “why”.  Get back in touch with exactly what the benefits are for you to detox your spirit, mind and body.  Further, remember the other people who will benefit from you completing this 21-day program.   Remember your plan for dealing with the distractions and congratulate your self for doing something in spite of your “feelings” pulling you in another less challenging direction.

If you are not still doing it and feel badly about that...FORGIVE yourself, reflect on the lesson learned and either continue with the program or not.

If you are not still doing the program and you have decided to do it at another time…GOOD FOR YOU! It’s important to know what can be done when.  I caution you to not put it off indefinitely. Set a date for when you will do it. Share that date with someone or post it somewhere.  There’s nothing like a little publicity to keep us accountable.  🙂 Frankly,  saying it to your self should, ideally be enough and this is one of our 21 challenges [Our word is our bond.]

Wherever you are wonderful people, you are exactly where you need to be to get to where you are headed.  If where you are headed is where you want to be, then stay on this path and be grateful for being right in this moment.  If where you are headed is NOT where you want to be, step in and take the helm. Direct your life as needed.  Do what you must do to get you where you need to go.

But however you look at, you are exactly where you need to be to get to the next step. Being filled with gratitude RIGHT NOW will do wonders for your spirit.  There’s something magical about gratitude.  It encourages humility and from that a kind of potency that leads to action.

So wherever you are on this journey, or even if you are no longer on it, if you choose to be fully present in this very moment, your joy will be enhanced and any regrets will be minimized.  Turn a regretful heart into a forgiving one.  Instead of regret, review what has transpired and learn the lessons that are being taught.  Then move on.

If you are still filled with enthusiasm by all means share it with us…

And for everyone, if you can, check in with us… and let us know how it’s going.

Wishing you an abundance of peace and light,

Julette Millien
