Day 9 – MASSIVE Gratitude at/for WORK – How to find the JOY!

Gratitude - Look for things to Appreciate

Hello Dear One!

It’s day 9 – gratitude at, for and about work! The wonderful business of living life.

Let’s do some random acts of kindness at work today.

If you are a business owner, manager or team leader, let members know how grateful you are for their work. People thrive on gratitude and appreciation. A paycheck is not gratitude, it is what is earned in a business transaction. Gratitude is from the heart and provides essential psychological income. Don’t just compliment, show gratitude. Demonstrate your gratitude.

If you are an employee or team member, show gratitude for your teammates and employers. Find something midst your ‘suggestions for improvements’ that you are grateful for and build on that. Of course your environment will improve but don’t do it for that, do it because you are grateful.

If you are seeking employment, be grateful for your skills and approach the search with gratitude for each opportunity that comes your way and the quiet days when you can reflect on your next step in life. Let people see and feel your gratitude, so much more will flow your way as a direct result of your attitude.

How to find the JOY at/in work? LOOK for it, SEE what is there and remain HUMBLE.

AFFIRM: WORK BRINGS JOY! I LOVE being PRODUCTIVE!

Tip: Keep the ‘rubber band on wrist’ exercise going – change wrists if one is getting a bit sore!  🙂 Take awareness to the next level today – for every complaining thought (one without a resolution and is in that particular whining-like tone) today, stop and do 3 jumping jacks!!! If your’e in a meeting and don’t want to look like you’ve gone nuts, do them mentally, snap that band and then do them after the meeting or as soon as you can.

If you find your self doing a ton of jumping jacks at once, or stopping frequently to jump, take that as a sign. A sign to have an honest self-talk and make some changes in thoughts and emotions.
It’s not easy, but once committed you can achieve change with some diligence, focused intentions and self-discipline.
