The truth is only one…

April 11, 2014 by Julette Leave a Comment

Hola My Friend!
Morning musings…as I woke: I learned this, again, in the last 24 hours…The key to peace is my preparation for peace. Harbor no personal ill feelings – none at all. (Of course it’s a different issue having disagreements – deep and lasting ones with people (especially so called leaders) who seek to hurt others for their personal gain. That, unfortunately, stays. But I will fight that fight still, with peace.) The thing is this tho… the (negative) feelings I permit to reside in my spirit WILL – no matter how dormant, WILL lay in wait for the “right” seed to be planted…and then, they will grow… If we don’t decide ahead of time – with spirit, mind and heart on one accord, to make peace our minute-by-minute intention, we will loose it (pun intended) daily.

For example — liking people…if we harbor dislike for certain people, when they do something unexpected or even a little confusing, all hell can break loose in your spirit – like it started to in mine! – because wherever you drop a certain (negative or positive) live seed into fertile soil, you will have something grow. We do reap what we sow. It’s spiritual gardening 101.
So…the key is to harbor no ill feelings and let your spiritual soil be Love, fertilized daily with added doses of self-control, humility, kindness and patience. From that soil surely joy, peace and faith will grow. (Scriptural references: Galatians 5: 22-23 and Galatians 6:7)

It’s a tough lesson – you have to really want it, to get it.

Peace & Love to You,
